What makes this editor different
This editor is built from the input buffer up, without an existing editor library. That is why keystrokes stay fast in large documents, undo never drifts, and pasted text does not fall apart. Formatting is reachable three ways: markdown shortcuts, slash commands and the toolbar.
Create your first document
- Open the editor and press New document, or pick a template.
- Write a title and the body. There is no save button; it saves about a second after you pause.
- Demo text before sign-in stays only on this device. After sign-in, documents save to your account.
- A toggle above the editor picks classic or minimal mode. In minimal mode the toolbar gives way to + and ⋮⋮ handles next to each block for adding and moving blocks. Light and dark themes switch from the sun icon at the right end of the toolbar (minimal mode has no toolbar, so switch themes in classic).
Where to go next
- Markdown shortcuts: formatting without leaving the keyboard
- Slash commands: inserting blocks from the keyboard
- Documents and subscription: saving, templates, Plus
